How to Handle the Lease Ending

Giving up your lease could be a bittersweet time and results in deciding your vehicle’s fate. Do you upgrade to a newer car or keep your car? Can you even continue to drive your leased 4Runner?

Around 90 days, you’ll receive notice that it’s time to get the car inspected for the lease return. An independent service shop near the Saco River or elsewhere can conduct the inspection, which examines the exterior, interior, and odometer. It’s best to keep your car up to date with service and keep it clean and in good shape.

After your Toyota successfully passes the inspection, you can either turn it in or upgrade it to a new Toyota. Or you could get a loan for the remaining cost if you’ve really fallen in love with the car.
